THE WOODSHOP LTD. is a full service restoration shop with the capability to restore your antique Chris Craft to showroom condition. Depending on your intent, I can produce museum quality work or provide you with a restoration utilizing both tradition and technology that minimizes maintenance while increasing your time on the water. We offer the most historically accurate restorations and the highest quality craftsmanship to those who can appreciate it and specialize in restorations of prewar Chris Crafts with particular interest in the barrel backs produced between 1939-1942.
We are a family owned company that has produced the highest quality furniture and architectural woodworking for the past 25 years. We have provided engineering and CAD services to local millwork companies together with traditional hand joinery for many years. Our craftsmanship is outstanding. As we have transitioned into restoration work, I have developed techniques that have proven themselves to be second to none. Tahoe Results. By combining traditional woodworking, engineering, and CAD we have developed a very unique approach to the restoration of antique boats.
It has become my goal to document the original construction in order to produce the most historically accurate and technically superior restoration available. We believe the best way to achieve this goal is with a combination of very traditional boatbuilding and cutting edge technology.
